Vaccine shipments delayed due to the winter storms across the country have still not arrived for county run clinics. The Press Democrat reports that 5,100 doses of the Moderna vaccine, that were supposed to have arrived last week, still have not arrived as of Monday. This has caused several county affiliated clinics to either shut down temporarily or cancel hundreds of appointments. As for Private Healthcare, Sutter Health is pausing all appointments for first doses and instead, scheduling vaccinations for those who are ready for a second dose. Kaiser Santa Rosa has no delays in appointments locally and Providence St. Joseph, operator of Santa Rosa Memorial, Petaluma Valley and Healdsburg hospitals, says they can carry scheduled appointments through this week.
