Layoffs and possible cuts are being considered as options for the Bodega Bay Fire Protection District. This comes after west Sonoma County voters rejected the tax hike Measure B last week. The district board of directors will meet again later tonight to discuss declaring a fiscal emergency to allow for more flexibility in dealing with its budget problems. The board met previously during an emergency meeting on Friday, where the possibility of cost-cutting measures was first brought up.
