A Solano County man has been sentenced in Napa County after pleading no contest to pimping and failing to appear while on bail. The judge sentenced 36-year-old Nickolas George Rose to 7 years and 4 months in prison. Rose was arrested back in June of 2018 after an undercover operation turned up a sex worker with Rose’s name on her neck. During the undercover operation, Rose admitted to knowing the worker and helped her advertise while taking some of the money. Rose pleaded no contest in January of 2020 but the case kept getting delayed because of his repeated failure to appear over the next several months. He was arrested in Sacramento in September of 2020 on other charges and was transported back to Napa shortly after.
