Sonoma Police say they were able to arrest a bank robbery suspect who tried to escape on a bus. According to officials, Porschia Napalan walked into the Union Bank at the Sonoma Plaza yesterday and told the teller that she was robbing the place. She did not show a gun, but the teller put money into the bag and Napalan left the area. A witness told law enforcement that she had boarded a county transit bus headed to Petaluma, and Sonoma County deputies stepped in and followed the bus. Napalan surrendered, and she was booked into jail.
