Sonoma County Advances Actions on Climate Change

Sonoma County officials have backed up their commitment to addressing climate action. Yesterday, the Board of Supervisors approved two moves that would commit $12 million to advancing climate action and resilience goals for the county. At least $10 million of that money will create a Climate Resiliency Fund, and nearly $2 million will be used to hire a deputy county administrator and two support staff.
