The Petaluma Health Center’s chief administrator will help decide the State’s voting districts. Pedro Toledo has been chosen to join the Citizens Redistricting Commission which will be redrawing the state’s voting districts. 14 Californians serve on the commission, four of whom are Latino, including Toledo. The Commission, however, isn’t likely to have these districts done until 2022 when the midterms will be in full swing. They will also have to decide congressional districts which will include one fewer position with 52 representatives, as California lost a seat after the latest Census numbers.
