Fire officials say a lawn mower was the cause of a grass fire that burned near a Santa Rosa middle school. The fire erupted in a large field near Hilliard Comstock Middle School yesterday. The blaze burned nearly five acres, but crews were able to contain the fire. Smoke from the fire was visible across Santa Rosa. No structures were destroyed, and no injuries were reported.
