After a 40-year run, Auction Napa Valley will be coming to an end, but organizers plan to have a similar event with a few changes. The auction had been on a pandemic-related two-year hiatus, and organizers said yesterday that they want to return with a series of events that would appeal to a range of income levels. The auction was an event where some of America’s wealthiest wine connoisseurs would make bids. The new event, called Collective Napa Valley, will focus fundraising efforts on seasonal offerings. The first event will happen in June of next year.
