Khalil

Meet our Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Sonoma County, Khalil.

He is a two year old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 66 pounds. Khalil is a handsome Husky who has really captured our hearts! One look into his deep brown soulful eyes and you’re hooked. A young dog with a shy, sensitive nature, Khalil is longing for a family he can bond with.

He’s looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can settle into a consistent routine and thrive. Puzzle toys and positive training sessions will satisfy his need for mental stimulation. And a quiet, securely-fenced backyard will give him a tranquil oasis for nature breaks. Earning a shy dog’s trust is so rewarding! If you can provide Khalil with compassion and patience, you will have a friend for life.

Adopters: Khalil’s ideal family will be patient and have experience with shy, sensitive dogs. They will be dedicated to providing a calm environment, secure yard and lots of enrichment. Kids high school age and older recommended.

Dogs: A well-matched dog good at reading and responding to Khalil’s body language could be a good fit.

Cats: Unknown, possibly with slow introduction.
