Sonoma County officials plan to fight for Measure P in court. The county voted yesterday to challenge the recent state labor board’s ruling that gutted the sheriff’s office oversight measure. Measure P was overwhelmingly approved by voters in November. The California Public Employee Relations Board ruled that key provisions within the measure should have been subject to collective bargaining. The next step is to formally file the appeal in the 1st District Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
