The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department is still looking for members to join its Community Roundtable for Equity, Engagement and Diversity, also known as CREED. Officials have extended the application period to next Monday as the department searches for 12 community members to join CREED. It is an expansion of an existing committee that’s been in place since 2013 that focuses more on Latino issues. The deadline was extended so officials can have a large pool of qualified and diverse applicants.
