Four More Covid Deaths in Sonoma County, Including one at Sam Jones Hall

Four more Coronavirus related deaths have been reported by Sonoma County Health Officials, including a 2nd person from Sam Jones Hall. That brings the overall death toll to 344 after two more deaths were reported on Tuesday. As for the sheltered individual from Sam Jones, he died in a hospital and reportedly had underlying health conditions, was vaccinated, and was between the ages of 55 and 64. The first shelter resident died last month. The shelter was in the midst of an outbreak last month where 114 of the 153 shelter residents tested positive for the coronavirus. A positive test has not been reported at the shelter since August 2nd.

Covid cases are continuing to climb in Sonoma County with the 7 day daily average of active cases now at 2,505. That number reached a low of 305 in the middle of May.
