North Bay Assemblyman Marc Levine is aiming for a new job. Yesterday, Levine announced his bid for Insurance Commissioner of California, officially challenging current commissioner Ricardo Lara. Levine and Lara will face off in 2022 possibly twice in the Primary and General elections. Levine’s decision to run means his assembly seat will be open next year. He was first elected to the assembly in 2012.
