State officials have sent out a new round of warnings about recreating in Clear Lake. Water regulators sent out warnings yesterday because of potentially dangerous blue-green algae blooms that could sicken people or pets. Elevated toxins have been present in the lake since late July but has increased because of high temperatures and shrinking water levels.
