A Vallejo man has been arrested for possessing a concealed firearm in Santa Rosa. On Friday evening, two officers in the area of Farmer’s Lane and Bennett Valley Road spotted a vehicle with multiple equipment violations. After initiating a traffic stop, the officers smelled freshly burnt marijuana and saw an open container of alcohol in the passenger area leading them to detain the occupants. Upon searching the vehicle they found a non-serialized and unregistered Polymer80 gun which was loaded with 18 rounds. The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Keyshawn Brown, was determined to be the owner of the gun and was arrested for multiple weapons violations.
