Outgoing Windsor Town Clerk Honored

The retiring Windsor Town Clerk is being honored by the town. The council issued a proclamation of congratulations to Maria De La O after 17 years as Town Clerk. The proclamation read in part “Maria has consistently demonstrated a generous spirit, tireless work ethic, professional integrity, and an exemplary attitude that has made her a tremendous worker and ambassador for the Town.” De La O will retire on November 1st after 31 years serving Windsor, beginning in 1990 as a clerk typist for the Windsor Water District before the town was incorporated. Her replacement will be former deputy town clerk Irene Camacho-Werby, who was strongly endorsed by De La O.
