Three West County schools will be closed today due to the spread of the coronavirus. Gravenstein Elementary School and Hillcrest Middle School will be closed, and the REACH Independent Charter School in Sebastopol will also be closed. This impacts about 900 students. Some staff and students have been exposed to COVID-19, prompting the closures. The Sonoma County Office of Education says that the emergency closures are budgeted into the school calendar.
