Gun Sawyers Allegedly Brandished (Petaluma Police)
A 37-year-old man has been arrested for brandishing a gun inside a downtown Petaluma bar. Police got the call shortly before midnight on Saturday a man pointing a gun at another individual inside a bar on Kentucky Street. Officers responded to the bar, and numerous patrons identified Jonathan Sawyers as the person with the firearm. Officers detained Sawyers without incident and retrieved a Glock pistol from his back pocket. The firearm was loaded and unregistered. Sawyers was arrested for possession of a firearm in public, possession of an unregistered firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
