Petaluma CVS Robbery Suspect (Petaluma Police)

Petaluma police are looking for a burglar who robbed the CVS Pharmacy on North McDowell Boulevard. It happened Monday evening just before 8 PM when a man grabbed and pushed an employee out of the way as he forced his way into the pharmacy. He ordered two employees to open a cash register and a safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash along with multiple bottles of medication. While one employee was attempting to open the second safe, a third employee walked toward the pharmacy which spooked the suspect and he left. The man is described as a black male adult in his 20s, wearing a black beanie, black hoodie, and light-colored jeans. Petaluma Police are aware that the case seems similar to a robbery reported at a CVS in Santa Rosa a few days earlier and working to determine if the two are related.
