Some bad news with a bit of good news on the pandemic. Five more Covid-related deaths have been reported in Sonoma County bringing the death toll in the county to 437. All five had underlying conditions and three were in skilled nursing facilities and between 90 to 100 years old. The bit of good news, though, is that cases might be starting to go down. New cases per 100,000 people looks to have peaked at 247 on January 10th and has gone down to 198 as of January 20th. We are also seeing signs of downward trends with Covid Hospitalizations, and test positivity.
