The person running against longtime Supervisor David Rabbitt is ahead in donations. According to campaign finance filings, Blake Hooper raised almost $71-thousand in the second half of last year, while current incumbent supervisor David Rabbitt’s donations are worth nearly $38-thousand. However, Rabbitt’s coffers are full from previous campaigns – with more than $100-thousand available. The filings say Hooper has more than 200 donors, and some donated multiple times. Hooper is a planning commissioner and former staffer for Congressman Jared Huffman.
