Pliny The Younger Released In Person After Being Cancelled Last Year

People are already lining up for the 2022 release of Pliny the Younger.
The famous ale released by Russian River Brewing Company comes back today with an in-person launch after a one year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Even this year’s release was delayed by a month due to the Omicron surge. Co-owner of Russian River Brewing, Natalie Cilurzo, described this year’s vintage on KSRO’s the Drive.
“The beer itself is actually the same recipe as last year,” said Cilurzo. “It is a Triple IPA, it has about 10.25 percent alcohol. It has ten different hop varieties in it.”
Pliny the Younger was released last year but only online. Larger crowds are expected due to the delayed release. The brewpubs in Santa Rosa and Windsor will be open 11 AM to 10 PM daily. Pliny the Younger will be served through April 7th.
