California won’t require students under the age of 16 to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for another 15 months. This according to state officials, who say that the earliest such a mandate could be imposed is now July 1st, 2023. Such a move reportedly would require approval from the Federal Drug Administration. Authorities say the state is choosing to delay implementation of the mandate for this school year “to ensure sufficient time for successful implementation of new vaccine requirements.”
