Masks are now optional on public transportation in Sonoma County. The county dropped its mask policy yesterday, a day after a federal judge in Florida overruled the CDC’s mask mandate for public transportation. Masks are also no longer required at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport, since the TSA has stopped enforcing the federal mask mandate. Masks had been the rule on local public transportation and at transportation hubs for about two years following the onset of the pandemic in March of 2020.
