Thousands of undergraduate students could receive money for college, but the deadline is fast-approaching.  California’s Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday outlines how the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps program will work.

“Students in the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps with commit to serve during a full academic year,” said Fryday. “Serving a total of 450 hours.”

Over the next two academic years, #CaliforniansForAll College Corps will provide more than six-thousand college students with community service opportunities in critical issue areas like climate action, K-12 education, and COVID-19 recovery.  For their service, students will receive $10,000 towards their educational expenses.  Forty-five campuses across California are participating in the program.  Most campuses will close enrollment at the end of their school year.  The program will start this fall.

The College Corps program is not active at Sonoma State University, nor at Santa Rosa Junior College. To find out more, including participating schools, click here.
