Car Chase in Windsor 5-13-22 (Windsor Police)

Two have been arrested after ramming a patrol car in Windsor. Early Friday morning, a deputy saw an occupied car parked within the closed business parking lot of the Windsor Palms shopping center. The driver began reversing but stopped when the deputy yelled to stop. The driver nor the passenger provided ID and only said their names while the deputy noticed construction tools scattered about the rear passenger seat. As the deputy went back to his patrol car, the driver reversed his vehicle and rammed the patrol car nearly hitting the deputy. The car then fled with additional deputies responding and would be stopped after reaching a closed gate of the Shiloh Ridge Estate gated community. After the vehicle got stuck in landscaping, the two suspects fled on foot but were arrested after a brief chase.

The construction tools and other property located in the suspect’s car were determined to be stolen from two unreported car burglaries in Windsor.
