Healdsburg Man Gets 8-Year Prison Sentence for Shootings

A 21-year-old man from Healdsburg has been sentenced to eight years in prison in connection with two shootings. Joahan Maldonado-Nieto shot at a car and a home in January of last year. No one was home at the time. In February of last year, he shot at three men as they approached his apartment complex. The second shooting is believed to be gang-related and happened while the man was on felony probation. Maldonado-Nieto previously pleaded no contest to three felony charges.
