With Top Gun: Maverick set to be released next week, the Pacific Coast Air Museum is having a special weekend to get you ready. Tomorrow and Sunday, the museum will play the original Top Gun movie twice each day in Hanger 2. After that, Spokesman for the Pacific Air Coast Museum Gary Greenough says you can see Fighter Row where aircraft from the movie will be on display.
“We got A-4 Skyhawks that Jester and Viper flew, the F-14 Tomcat that Maverick flew, we got a F-5 Tiger II fighter that’s painted black, and, for the bad guys, MiG-29,” says Greenough.
You will even be able to sit in some of the aircraft on display. They’ll be open from 10 AM to 4 PM Saturday and Sunday with movie screenings of the original film at 11 AM and 1 PM. More Information can be found at PacificCoastAirMuseum.org.
