Californians Won’t Decide on New Minimum Wage Come November

Check, Paycheck, Bank Account.

Voters will not decide on increasing the state minimum wage this November. The proposal to make the new minimum wage $18-an-hour didn’t receive enough signatures by last week’s deadline. The legislation called for a steady rise each year until it reached $18 by 2025. The minimum wage is already increasing to $15.50-an-hour starting in January.
