Monte Rio Variety Show (2019)
The Monte Rio Variety Show is returning in person after two years due to the pandemic. The 111th annual Monte Rio Variety Show will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Monte Rio Amphitheater. One of the organizers, Michele McDonnell, says it’s the event you don’t want to miss.
“While some of the acts we can’t predict or publicize, that is part of the unique part of the show,” says McDonnell. “There’s never been a bad show. It’s always a great show, it’s great entertainment, it’s world class.”
While some entertainers will be a surprise, confirmed acts will be announced in the coming days. The event supports the legacy and maintenance of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, the Monte Rio School Foundation, and the Monte Rio Fire Services Foundation.
