Ghost Gun confiscated from Cristian Fernando Hernandez Gonzalez (Santa Rosa Police)

A ghost gun has been confiscated after Santa Rosa police detained a resident on a bike path. On Friday evening, officers contacted 2 subjects that they were familiar with from prior investigations along the Newhall bike path running between Petaluma Hill Road and Hendley Street. The officers searched 21-year-old Cristian Fernando Hernandez Gonzalez, who had prior gang involvements, and found a unserialized loaded 9mm handgun with a laser attached to it. Gonzalez had a prior conviction for robbery and was prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was charged with five felonies including felon in possession of a firearm.
