There’s room to build 579 more housing units in Sonoma. That’s according to a new report by city planning consultants. This comes after the Association of Bay Area Governments determined that Sonoma would need 311 new units by 2031. The consultancy’s principal planner Perry Banner says Sonoma is in “a pretty good spot” while other jurisdictions are struggling to find enough sites.
