Ballistics tests have linked the fatal shootings of six men and the wounding of one woman in California— all potentially at the hands of a serial killer — in crimes going back more than a year, police said Monday. A murder in the Bay Area is now connected to a possible serial killer. Police say a man gunned down last year in Oakland was actually the first victim. Days later, a woman in Stockton was shot but survived. Five others have also been killed there since July, all men and just miles apart. Police only have a grainy photo to work with of either a suspect or witness. They’ve upped the reward to $95-thousand, hoping someone will come forward.
