The Sonoma Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet today to discuss appointing an acting superintendent. Superintendent Doctor Adrian Palazuelos is out on an extended medical leave and it’s unclear when he’s expected to return to work. Palazuelos has not been at his office nor actively on the job for the past several weeks. The board will also consider the discipline, dismissal or release of a public employee. The employee has not been identified.
