California Highway Patrol officials announce there will be a “maximum enforcement period” across the state during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Officers are looking for people who are impaired, under the influence, or are violating traffic laws. Authorities said they held a saturation detail last week where more than 100 tickets were issued.
