The average gas price in Sonoma County is still climbing. Today a gallon of regular gas is $4.86, up slightly from Sunday, and up seven cents from last Monday. It’s also up 35 cents in a month. The cheapest gas in Sonoma County is at the Fast Gas in Cloverdale, where a gallon of unleaded is $4.39. Lake County has $4.64, Mendocino County has $4.65, Marin County has $4.85, and Napa County is closing in on the five-dollar mark again at $5.96. Today’s California average is $4.73 per gallon. The national average is far better at $3.41.
