Today, Sonoma County is hosting a job and resources fair for homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless. Forty-seven local employers and service providers will be there, offering support with housing, resume writing and other areas. The fair is at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building and will last from eleven a.m. to two p.m. Last year’s point-in-time count showed nearly 29-hundred homeless people in Sonoma County. That was a five-percent increase from 2020.
