If you are looking for a job, Napa County is having a hiring boom! Napa County is ranked fourth in terms of fastest job growth among metropolitan areas in the United States, a growth rate of 6.9-percent. At least 47-hundred workers were added in the 12 months ending in January according to data collected by the Orange County Register. The only other metro areas that had faster job growth were Midland, and Odessa in Texas, and Manhattan, Kansas.
Meanwhile, jobs in Santa Rosa grew by 4.2 percent, an increase of up to 8,200 jobs, tied for 89th place. Overall in California, Over 594-thousand workers were added statewide in that same time period.
