Sonoma County’s COVID-19 emergency is officially over. On Tuesday, the county Board of Supervisors formally ended the emergency proclamation that had been active since the pandemic started more than three years ago. The emergency proclamation was ratified on March 4th 2020, two days after Sonoma County had its first resident test positive for COVID-19. California’s COVID state of emergency was lifted on February 28th and the national state of emergency was lifted last Thursday.
