A man has died in a house fire in Mendocino County. On Tuesday afternoon, a house fire was reported on Colony Drive in Redwood Valley. Firefighters arrived within minutes to see some residents had already evacuated the one-story home. Firefighters entered the house to search for others and found a man dead in one of the bedrooms. No one else was injured. Fire damage was limited to one side of the house though the other side sustained smoke damage. The home was declared uninhabitable.
