Over $1-Million Going to Larson Park Renovation and Sonoma Valley Fire Resiliency

Larson Park (Sonoma County Regional Parks)

State Senator Bill Dodd is announcing new funds from the new state budget will go towards a couple of Sonoma Valley Projects. A million dollars will go to renovating Larson Park near Boyes Hot Springs. The park renovation will deliver a new soccer field, playground, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, gathering areas, a picnic area, landscaping, ecological restoration, accessible features, parking and other amenities. Another $250,000 will go towards supporting Sonoma Valley fire resiliency projects. This is on top of $500,000 previously secured for the Sonoma Valley Wildlands Collaborative to reduce fire risks in Sonoma Valley.
