Two Pit Bulls From Sonoma Declared “Vicious Animals” by Judge and to be Put Down

Two dangerous pit bulls from Sonoma will be put down. The dogs, named Mac and Maggie, were declared “vicious animals” by a judge last week, after a string of attacks against people and other dogs in Sonoma. They most recent case was on June 5th, when the dogs attacked a man and his injuries required 30 stitches. The dogs have been in the custody of Sonoma County Animals Services ever since. The judge also banned the dogs’ owners, mother and daughter Harmony Bolt and Mia Kniss, from owning or possessing any animal for three years. They also have to pay $3,000 to the injured man.
