Montgomery High School Stabber Gets Sentenced for Lesser Crime

The 16-year-old boy who stabbed a fellow Montgomery High School student to death in March has been sentenced to probation. On Thursday, Daniel Pulido was sentenced for having a knife on campus on the day of the stabbing, which happened during a classroom fight. Last month, a judge acquitted him of voluntary manslaughter, determining his actions were justified. Pulido could be on probation for up to five years. Or, his term could be much shorter depending on his behavior and compliance with terms set by the judge.
