Three Dead in Northern California from Fallen Trees

The death toll is rising as this latest atmospheric river leaves a trail of damage. Three men died Sunday in Northern California, all from fallen trees. One got trapped inside his Santa Cruz County home, the other two were crushed in their backyards in Sacramento and Sutter counties. That’s where a five-year-old girl barely escaped the same fate when a tree crashed into a house, landing within inches of her on the couch.
