Woman Arrested in Petaluma for Carrying Fentanyl to Sell

A woman has been arrested in Petaluma for possessing fentanyl with intent to sell. Last Wednesday afternoon, officers responded to a suspected in-progress theft at the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets. They arrived and contacted the suspect, Andrea Maldonado. After discovering she had a felony warrant out of San Mateo, officers searched her property and found 10.5 grams of suspected fentanyl, nearly a gram of suspected meth, multiple small baggies, 2 scales, $97 in cash, and additional drug paraphernalia. Maldonado was arrested for the outstanding warrant, possession of controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of meth.
