Fallen man in Golden Gate National Recreation Area 3-31-24 (Sonoma Sheriff)
A man had to be rescued in Southern Marin County after falling from a cliff. He fell in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area Sunday evening and was about 50-60 feet down from a trail and clinging to the gravel rock face. Sonoma County Sheriff’s helicopter, Henry-1, was called in and managed to rescue the man using a long line rescue. He was flown to the top of the cliff where firefighters evaluated his condition.
