A 23-year-old man from Santa Rosa is dead after a rollover dump truck crash in Napa Valley. A passenger also has major injuries after the crash, which happened on Highway 29 on Wednesday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol says the truck crashed after the driver made an unsafe turning motion toward the right shoulder of the road. That caused the truck to leave the highway, crash into a concrete box, then into a metal guardrail. The truck then overturned and slid before coming to a stop in a dirt and rock drainage culvert. Neither of the men in the truck were wearing seatbelts.
