Santa Rosa-based Burbank Housing Development Corporation and Burbank Housing Management are settling a lawsuit claiming they discriminated against people with disabilities. Burbank Housing will pay 41-thousand-500-dollars and must require employees to train in fair housing laws, among other terms of the settlement. Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California sued the nonprofit affordable housing developer in 2022. It followed years of alleged complaints from Burbank tenants with disabilities. The settlement does not require Burbank to admit to any wrongdoing or violation.
