A credit union based in Santa Rosa is notifying customers of a data breach. Members of Community First Credit Union may have had their names, social security numbers, account information and other sensitive data compromised. The company completed an investigation into the data breach in April and were investigating it with the help of the FBI, California Attorney General’s Office and a cybersecurity firm. Community First Credit Union says the data breach happened last September and can be traced to an unauthorized third party that accessed an employee’s email account.
