A driver from Sonoma was killed in late June in a crash that also injured his passenger on Old Adobe Road has been identified. 27-year-old Alejandro Moya Benitez and a passenger were headed south on June 27th and crashed while trying to pass another vehicle. The driver died at the site. the passenger had major injuries. The fatal crash is the second that has occurred on Old Adobe Road in the last three years and the third that has caused major injuries.
